Refund policy

1. Overview

Thank you for shopping at Shenzhen Cross Ocean Shengtai Co., Ltd. We are committed to providing you with high-quality electronic components. Due to the specialized and unique nature of electronic components, as well as the nature of our B2B business, please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

2. Return Rules (Standard Timeframes & Conditions)

To simplify the process, we divide returns into two categories: "Non-Quality Returns" and "Quality/Defective Returns".

A. Non-Quality Returns (e.g., bulk purchasing error, wrong order, no longer needed)

  • Request Period: Within 15 days of receipt.

  • Conditions:

    • Products must remain in their original condition: unused, uncut, unsoldered, unprogrammed, and original packaging unopened.

    • ESD packaging must be intact and unopened.

    • Products must have their original labels attached.

  • Fees: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, and we will charge a 15% – 25% restocking fee to cover processing costs.

B. Quality Issues / Parameter Mismatch (e.g., performance failure, oxidized pins, wrong item shipped)

  • Request Period: Within 30 days of receipt.

    • Note: For hidden defects or warranty claims, please refer to Section 7 below.

  • Conditions: A detailed test report or video evidence of the defect is required.

  • Fees: We will cover return shipping costs and issue a full refund or provide a free replacement.

3. Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

The following items cannot be returned. Please pay special attention before placing an order:

  • "NC/NR" Products: Items marked as Non-Cancelable/Non-Returnable, including specific batches, custom materials, or back-ordered materials.

  • Used Products: Products that have been cut from reels/trays, machine-placed, programmed, soldered, or have oxidized pins.

  • ESD-Sensitive Devices: Once the ESD packaging is opened (unless tested in a professional ESD-safe environment and confirmed defective).

  • End-of-Life (EOL) Components: Obsolete or soon-to-be-obsolete scarce materials, unless Dead on Arrival (DOA).

  • Physical Damage: Bent or broken pins, blurred markings on the chip surface.

4. Refund Process & Methods

  1. Initiate Request: Contact us via [your self-service return link/customer service email].

  2. Obtain Authorization: Do not ship back without authorization. You must obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Any package without an RMA number clearly marked will be refused.

  3. Inspection: After receipt, our technical department will inspect the components (typically within 3–5 business days).

  4. Refund Processing:

    • Credit Card / Original Payment Method: Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after approval.

    • Store Credit / Original Payment Method: Processed immediately upon approval.

5. Refund Disputes

  • Partial Refunds: If a product is deemed a "Non-Quality Return" but the packaging shows minor damage, we reserve the right to issue a partial refund (deducting depreciation).

  • Refused Packages: If you refuse delivery, we do not automatically treat this as a return. All refused packages will be subject to round-trip shipping charges plus a 20% handling fee of the product value.

6. Replacement Policy

  • We strongly recommend returning the item first and placing a new order to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • For direct replacements (applicable only for wrong items shipped or Dead on Arrival (DOA)), we will ship the replacement before receiving the returned item, provided evidence is supplied.

7. Warranty

  • Warranty Period: 90 days from the date of shipment.

  • Scope: Warranty covers material defects and workmanship issues. It does not apply to damage caused by circuit design errors, electrostatic discharge (ESD), misuse, or operation beyond rated parameters.
